Imagine a street alive with chalk art paintings, surrounded by artisans demonstrating their talents --- to the delight of an expected 40,000 onlookers from all of Southern California. The annual ArtSplash will splash into Carlsbad once again September 28-29, 2013!!! The anticipation is growing for this fabulous FREE two-day cultural “Arts Adventure,” filled with wonderful art, stage entertainment, meandering performers and musicians, hands-on activities, and fabulous food.

We are seeking chalk art Street Painters to make ArtSplash a unique & memorable experience. The central focus of ArtSplash will be the evolving, mesmerizing chalk art on upwards of 500 feet of slurry-sealed “canvas.” Some important distinctions of ArtSplash for the chalk artist are the ample room surrounding each square, the steady breeze, and ocean view, continental breakfast and lunch both days.

The ArtSplash Mission is to unite our Southern California region with an Arts Adventure for All Ages. Our goal is to raise funds for music & the Arts in North County schools. An integral part of the Arts Adventure we all enjoy is the in-person “alive” nature of your street painting.
